red-faced – to be / to feel embarrassed:
-Melvin was red-faced when realized that he had mistakenly sent a personal text message to his boss.
-Laurie will be red-faced if she finds out that the top two buttons on her blouse were open while she was giving a speech at the PTA meeting.
