  • Every members ………….. Every member

Each and Every are adjectives and used with a noun. Each can be used as a pronoun, but Every must always take a noun after.

  • Each player takes three cards in this game. …… Each takes three cards in this game.
  • Every player takes three cards in this game. ……… Every takes three cards in this game.

Each has the meaning of one by one, single…. Every means all.

  • Each worker in the company was questioned by the police. (one by one)
  • Every worker has a social security. (all workers)
